Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provides clean and comfortable rooms with daily bottled water but lacks modern amenities and has noisy old air conditioning. The dinner area is clean and comfortable, albeit a bit rough around the edges. A good choice for those seeking a homely atmosphere and a garden, suggesting considering a guest house instead.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were equipped with multiple ports supporting various plugs without the need for adapters, yet some were noisy and needed a room change. The service was friendly and accommodating, although a shuttle service cancellation for delayed guests was a plus. The location was ideal for business in Lusaka but not recommended for solo female travelers due to traffic issues. The dining experience varied, from not meeting Marriott standards to enjoyable homemade cakes. Overall, a decent choice depending on your priorities.
The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, making it convenient for business travelers, with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere in the rooms. However, the cleanliness of the bath towels needs improvement.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though there was a lingering smell of cigarettes and they appeared a bit worn in some areas. On the bright side, the room had multiple ports accommodating various plug types so no need for adapters, which was convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our late check-out request and even preparing breakfast ahead of schedule. However, the central location, while convenient, had its downsides with aggressive street vendors nearby making it a bit uncomfortable.
